POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for timely execution of preventive maintenance of plant equipment to eliminate breakdowns while reducing maintenance and related shutdowns to ensure product & people safety is never compromised. Continuously pursue machine improvements to sustain machine basic condition and improve performance and safety.

A DAY IN THE LIFE …

SHE: Always ensure that work permits are maintained for all employees under his supervision. Implement machine improvements related to the identified Safety gaps resulting from machinery safety and ergonomic assessments and red tags.

Quality: Ensure maintenance hygiene practices are always followed while conducting preventive maintenance, line intervention and contractors' activities. Ensure proper line release procedures are followed during interventions & completion of controls' activities. Participate in NEHD assessments & lead action plan gap closures.

Compliance: Ensure process and equipment safety for people, products, and the environment, and that everyone demonstrates an attitude of absolute intolerance for unsafe situations. Ensures that change management is in place to appropriately manage modifications in the engineering compliance.

Manage existing assets: Support and participate in the implementation maintenance methodologies (PM pillar, foundations), as a member of MWG. Support production to eliminate quality defects, safety risks and chronic technical issues. Ensure adherence to standards in area of responsibility.

Maintenance and Improvement of Mechnical and Electrical assets: Implement maintenance and inspection plans to ensure reliability, sustainability, and security of the mechanical equipment and machinery, also to ensure optimal operation and reduction of both planned and unplanned downtime. Ensure strict compliance to the SOPs for mechanical systems in production. Execute the Mechanical and Basic Electrical maintenance in accordance with the Nestlé Maintenance Strategy to proactively maintain and improve the fixed assets. To master the Asset and Maintenance Management (AMM) as the process to manage the asset lifecycle. Adopt the Maintenance Excellence vision by striving for the M&I “Proactive Domain".

NCE: Support TPM implementation across assigned plant/line through adherence to MWG implementation plan as part from PM implementation plan and take ownership of own development plan.

What will make you successful…
  • Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

  • Minimum 3-5 years of work experience, preferably in FMCG

  • Advanced understanding of the related departments and their role (Quality, Engineering, Warehouse, AG etc)

  • Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities (GSTD and BDA)

  • Good understanding of AM/PM Pillar Methodology

  • Good knowledge of Hygienic Engineering

  • Good knowledge in Asset & Maintenance Management (AMM)

  • Good knowledge in food processing operations and technology

  • Good Knowledge in Bearings, Mechnical transmission, Pneumatic, Hand tools and fasteners and Steel fabrication work

  • Good Knowledge of the protocol to implemented rules of hygiene, safety, zoning, and environment

  • Basic understanding of machines and food hygiene concepts coupled with adequate safety knowledge

  • Basic knowledge in Electrical & Automation Fundamental
