Apt Resources is offering an exciting opportunity for a Laundry and Kitchen Mechanic at a prestigious luxury resort in the Red Sea.

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of kitchen and laundry equipment supporting the seamless functionality of the resorts culinary and housekeeping departments. As a Laundry and Kitchen Mechanic you will perform routine maintenance troubleshoot issues and carry out repairs on a variety of machinery used in both kitchen and laundry operations. Your technical expertise will be essential in upholding the high standards of service and guest experience expected at a luxury resort.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in machinery.
• Ensure all equipment complies with safety and health regulations.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance performed and reports of any issues.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with kitchen and laundry staff to understand operational needs and concerns.
• Assist in the training of staff on proper use and maintenance of equipment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mechanic in a hospitality environment specifically with laundry and kitchen equipment.
