Overview

The Junior Mechanical Engineer role involves assisting with the installation, supervision, quality assurance, and coordination of mechanical works such as HVAC, piping, fire‑fighting, and related systems. This position is ideal for early‑career engineers who are eager to develop hands‑on experience in project execution and site engineering.

Your role
  • Assist in the execution and supervision of mechanical works at project sites.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and method statements under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Perform site inspections and ensure compliance with project standards and UAE authority regulations.
  • Support testing, pre‑commissioning, and commissioning activities for mechanical systems.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to resolve site issues.
  • Monitor material deliveries, conduct inspections, and maintain updated site documentation.
  • Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and assist in project planning activities.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols at all times.
  • Support the preparation of as‑built documentation, reports, and handover files.
About you
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 0‑2 years of experience in mechanical engineering, construction, or site operations (internships accepted).
  • Basic understanding of HVAC, plumbing, fire‑fighting, or mechanical equipment installation.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of MEP software is a plus.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in site.
