JOB PURPOSE
The Junior IT Analyst will support the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) system by assisting with troubleshooting, user support, and basic system enhancements. This entry-level role is ideal for those new to D365 F&O, providing hands-on experience in ERP support and business processes. The analyst will work closely with senior team members to learn system functionalities and contribute to ongoing improvements.
Functional Responsibilities
- Perform and maintain tasks as per SLA requirements.
- Diagnose system errors and minimal issues with POS and provide appropriate solutions.
- Determine the best solution based on user-reported issues and escalate unresolved issues to the next level of support when needed.
- Provide accurate information on IT products, services, and system functionalities.
- Maintain IT assets at the head office, track assignments, and troubleshoot existing asset issues.
- Prepare and track IT assets for new joiners, including induction and request status.
- Follow up with vendors regarding inquiries, quotations, licenses (new and renewal), and IT-related purchases.
- Track and maintain the IT asset register, including open requests vs. available assets.
- Manage IT asset documentation, including assignment forms, memorandum forms, handover forms, and request forms.
- Ensure proper deboarding checklist completion for exiting employees, including system access revocation.
- Conduct monthly audits of active and inactive user accounts and ensure proper access controls.
- Create, configure, and maintain Microsoft 365 (M365) email accounts.
- Activate and manage POS or retail system access for staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute meeting minutes (MOM) for IT meetings and maintain IT policies.
- Maintain and support meeting room IT equipment for ongoing sessions.
- Coordinate with users for sign-offs, documentation, and approvals related to IT processes.
- Provide training and awareness sessions for users on common IT issues and security best practices.
- Conduct IT induction sessions for new joiners, including ERP training based on user requirements.
- Document IT projects, training sessions, and system demos for future reference.
- Follow up with the finance department on any pending IT-related payments.
- Analyze and coordinate upcoming IT projects, ensuring proper documentation and execution.
