Job Title: Interior Designer – Design & Sales Experience: 3–5 Years Salary: As per market standards
We are looking for a strong and self-driven Interior Designer with a blend of design creativity and sales capability. The ideal candidate should be confident in handling clients, developing bespoke design solutions, and taking projects from concept to closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet clients to understand requirements, budget, and design expectations
- Develop space planning, design concepts, and customized interior solutions
- Prepare design presentations, mood boards, and basic cost coordination
- Present proposals confidently and close design and execution deals
- Manage the design process from concept to execution coordination
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal execution teams
- Ensure design intent, quality, and timelines are maintained
Key Interactions
- Clients: Requirement gathering, design presentations, approvals, and closures
- Sales / Business Development Team: Lead follow-ups and conversion strategy
- Design Team: Design development and detailing coordination
- Vendors & Contractors: Material selection, feasibility, and execution support
- Project / Site Team: Design clarifications and implementation support
Required Experience
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in interior design with client-facing and sales exposure
- Proven experience in handling end-to-end interior projects, including bespoke solutions
- Strong experience in client presentations, proposal discussions, and deal closures
- Exposure to residential and/or commercial interior projects is preferred
Education
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
Skills
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Ds Max etc.
- Strong design sensibility with attention to detail
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Strong time management and coordination abilities
- Target-oriented mindset with a sales-driven approach
