Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group in UAE is seeking a meticulous Training Manager to lead learning and development initiatives across the hotel. The role focuses on creating engaging training environments, aligning programs with brand standards, and empowering colleagues to deliver memorable guest experiences.

The ideal candidate will drive leadership capability, manage training calendars, and coordinate with external providers, ensuring timely completion of mandatory courses and certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Training & Development, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Learning & Development or Training, preferably within the hospitality industry, including supervisory or managerial experience.
• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding, ensuring colleagues understand IHG brand standards, hotel policies, and service expectations.
• Develop resources for onboardings and training, including creating visual informative aids.
• Establish and drive a high level of Leadership strength and competence through training/seminars/resources.
• Coordinate Training Calendar and Compliance across departments.
• External Training Coordination with external providers to arrange specialized programs.
• Training Budget and Resources management to optimize learning investments.
• Monitor colleagues’ completion of mandatory IHG University courses and learning pathways.
