Job summary

Sheraton Grand Hotel, Dubai is seeking an IT Intern to support the Information Technology team in maintaining the hotel's technology infrastructure and providing technical assistance to associates. This hands-on role offers exposure to hospitality technology systems, troubleshooting, network support, and Marriott technology standards in a professional hotel environment.

You will assist with first-level support, hardware/software maintenance, asset management, and documentation while learning

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software.
• Interest in networking, information systems, and technology support.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to learn hospitality technology systems.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Good command of English.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software.
• Support associates with basic technology-related issues and service requests.
• Maintain technology assets and inventory records.
• Ensure equipment operates efficiently according to Marriott standards.
• Conduct routine system checks, updates, and preventive maintenance.
• Assist with user account management and access requests under IT guidance.
• Help maintain documentation related to IT procedures and equipment.
• Learn and comply with data security and information protection standards.
• Participate in IT projects and technology initiatives as assigned.
