Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. in Dubai is seeking an experienced Desktop Support Specialist to provide hands-on and remote IT support for corporate associates. You’ll troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues, and manage incidents with a strong customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Desktop Support, IT Support, Client Services, Service Desk, or similar role
• Strong troubleshooting across desktop and end-user technologies
• Experience supporting customers both face-to-face and remotely
• Good working knowledge of desktop/laptop hardware, software, mobile devices, and common business applications
• Experience performing hardware and software installations and IMAC activities
• Strong customer-service mindset with ability to explain technical information to non-technical users
• Ability to prioritise competing requests and escalate when needed
• Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across teams
• Collaborative approach with internal and external stakeholders
• Attention to detail and accurate documentation
• Willingness to participate in on-call support rotation

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced desktop, laptop, phone, and end-user support to local and remote associates
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and application issues
• Manage incidents and service requests per SLAs and procedures
• Perform IMAC activities to meet business and associate requirements
• Provide hands-on support to cross-functional teams and technology initiatives
• Work with external vendors and internal technology teams to resolve issues
• Identify and escalate urgent, complex, or business-critical issues
• Document fixes and troubleshooting processes for knowledge sharing
• Maintain clear and professional communication with associates throughout the process
• Participate in an on-call rotation to provide coverage for emergencies
