Job summary

Accor-affiliated hotel in Abu Dhabi is seeking an IT Support Technician to perform monthly maintenance, monitor networks, and ensure smooth operation of computer systems for staff and guests. You will follow IT policies, manage backups, and identify risks to escalate to hotel management.

You'll provide technical support and training on systems, assist with new developments and hotel integration projects, and maintain licenses and upgrades for hotel software and hardware while staying

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Experience embedding change projects in an organization.
• IT certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA A+ or CompTIA N+ are an added advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
• Highly responsible and reliable with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to focus on guest needs while remaining calm and courteous.

Responsibilities

• Perform IT maintenance activities on a monthly basis.
• Follow Accor IT Policies and guidelines (user rights, security policy, backup policy, preventive maintenance, contingency plan).
• Identify IT risks and escalate to hotel management.
• Manage day-to-day IT operations for staff and guests; ensure smooth computer systems operation.
• Provide technical support and training on systems and networks.
• Monitor backups, archiving, and data restoration practices.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and perform routine maintenance to prevent outages.
• Support new hotel developments and integration projects as required.
