Job summary

FIVE Hotels and Resorts in Dubai is seeking an IT Support professional to join our hospitality technology team. You will handle hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring seamless guest experiences and smooth hotel operations.

The role requires 1.5–2 years of hospitality IT experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT. Knowledge of Opera or Simphony is a plus, with a proactive, detail-oriented approach and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

1.5–2 years experience in a hospitality IT environment.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field preferred.
Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, hardware and software.
Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with a first-in-class approach.
Familiarity with hotel-specific applications and property management systems like Opera and Simphony a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication to engage guests, team members and stakeholders.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
Hands-on attitude with a can-do spirit and commitment to service excellence.

Responsibilities

Provide high-level technical support to FIVE Tribe Members and Guests for hardware, software, and network issues.
Set up and configure computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment to ensure a smooth operation.
Respond to support tickets promptly and document issues and resolutions.
Monitor and maintain hotel IT networks, both wired and wireless, ensuring reliability and security.
Implement network security measures and conduct regular audits to protect data integrity.
Collaborate with vendors and service providers to troubleshoot connectivity and performance.
