Job description

As Head of UAE Growth, you will co-lead WasteLocker’s commercial expansion in the United Arab Emirates alongside the CEO, focusing on one of the company’s most strategic growth markets. The role spans engagement with government entities, utilities, heavy industry, real estate developers, ports, and mega-projects.

You will act as the market-builder and commercial counterpart to the CEO, working directly with senior decision-makers to identify priority use cases, shape solution scopes, structure pilots and multi-year engagements, and convert strategic interest into scaled deployments.

This is a full-time / contract role based in the UAE, with high autonomy, direct executive exposure, and ownership of outcomes.

Skills
  • Fluency in Arabic and English is a must, native or near-native speaker.
  • Proven experience driving market expansion, business development, or commercial growth in the UAE in a lean manner.
  • Strong track record engaging industrial operators, utilities, large enterprises, and government entities.
  • Experience with complex, consultative, or solution-led sales.
  • Familiarity with sustainability, environmental monitoring, infrastructure, energy, utilities, or industrial systems is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical solutions in a business‑relevant, outcome‑driven way.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and executive‑level communication skills.
  • Comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial, fast‑moving environment.
  • A degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related field is preferred but not required, provided you can demonstrate equivalent experience and a strong track record of results.
