A Guest Service Agent provides reception services for guests, contributing to an exceptional experience from check‑in through check‑out and completing audits as required.

What will I be doing?

Serve on the Front Office Team, ensuring guests receive high‑standard service throughout their stay.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely manner.
  • Provide an efficient reception experience for check‑in and check‑out, including audit procedures.
  • Communicate relevant guest feedback to the Guest Service Manager.
  • Demonstrate high levels of customer service at all times.
  • Attend required training courses and support Night Team training and development efforts.
  • Maintain knowledge of room categories, rates, packages, and promotions.
  • Maximize room occupancy and utilize up‑selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities.
  • Handle foreign currencies, credit cards, and cash in accordance with hotel credit policy.
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures regarding front‑of‑house equipment and property management systems.
  • Follow company brand standards.
  • Assist other departments as necessary.
