Job summary

voco Dubai Palm The Palm, part of InterContinental Hotels Group, is seeking a dedicated Front Desk Agent to deliver Rel iably Different hospitality at check-in and check-out. You’ll welcome guests, handle requests, and maintain a calm reception area using the PMS.

Requirements include 1+ year Front Desk experience, excellent communication, knowledge of Opera System, and the ability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays. This on-site role offers salary benefits and room discounts.

Qualifications

• 1+ years Front Desk experience.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Opera System (Opera PMS).
• Team player with service orientation.
• Able to stand for extended periods and work shifts.
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and check-in/check-out.
• Handle guest requests and messages.
• Maintain tranquility at reception and secure key handling.
• Review reservations for the day and ensure availability.
• Resolve Traces and ensure accurate computer entries.
• Answer phone promptly and relay messages.
• Close guest accounts at checkout and address dissatisfaction.
• Coordinate with PMS and payment processes.
• Know hotel services and operating hours.
