A leading engineering firm in Dubai is seeking a graduate lawyer to provide legal support throughout the Middle East, focusing on corporate portfolio management and contract negotiations. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Law and fluency in Arabic and English. This position offers recent graduates hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.
WSP Middle East is looking for a graduate lawyer to join its busy and vibrant legal team. In this role, you will provide legal support to WSP throughout the Middle East, with a primary focus on helping manage our corporate portfolio and reviewing and negotiating construction industry contracts.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent law graduate to gain hands-on legal experience in a dynamic and supportive environment. To be suitable for this role, you must be organised, display excellent written/communication skills, and have the ability to apply sound legal and commercial judgment. You must hold a law degree, ideally with a focus on Civil Law systems.
Support the delivery of legal services to different teams across the Middle East business in a timely and professional way.
Assist with the day-to-day tasks related to managing company entities in the Middle East, including setting up, closing down, or making changes to business registrations.
Help review, draft, and organize different types of contracts and agreements, such as consultancy contracts and subcontracts.
Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations that may affect WSP’s operations in the region.
Support the legal team in managing the company’s corporate documents and activities in the Middle East.
Share observations and suggestions on corporate matters with senior members of the legal team.
Work closely with other teams to help manage WSP’s legal and corporate responsibilities in the Middle East.
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
Recently graduated or possess up to 2 years of relevant legal experience, ideally within the construction or infrastructure sector.
Demonstrate fluency in both Arabic and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Exhibit the ability to adapt to changing business needs and quality standards, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Possess strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working within cross-functional teams.
Show a proactive attitude toward learning and developing legal expertise.

Must be a UAE National.
