Job summary

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai is seeking a non-management, full-time Front Desk/Guest Services team member. You will assist with guest payments, process check-ins, assign rooms, and issue keys, while coordinating with related departments to ensure smooth arrivals.

The role requires attention to detail, a professional demeanor, and strong guest service skills. A High school diploma or GED and 1 year of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Related work experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory experience: No supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None

Responsibilities

• Assist staff with expediting problem payments and payment processing.
• Follow up with guests regarding satisfaction with guest-related issues.
• Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, and issuing room key.
• Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in and resolve requests.
• Balance and drop receipts; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
• Support management in hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching employees.
