The Financial Analyst is responsible for monitoring and analyzing the company’s financial performance against strategic plans, evaluating business performance and market conditions, and developing accurate forecasts. This role supports senior management by delivering timely, insightful financial reports to drive informed tactical and strategic decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and generate key management reports including flash reports, actual reports, and RAM reports
- Develop accurate and detailed MIS reports for management review and decision‑making
- Prepare monthly Strategic Business Unit (SBU) presentations for board‑level discussions
- Prepare, review, and manage the annual budget and annual operating plan for assigned countries using an international consolidated format, ensuring strict adherence to deadlines
Financial Analysis & Forecasting
- Review and analyze monthly financial data and forecasts to support strategic planning and performance evaluation
- Ensure all financial statements are accurate, complete, and fully compliant with IFRS standards
- Review and support the consolidation of annual audited financial statements
Audit Coordination
- Coordinate with statutory auditors for annual audits and accounts finalization
- Authenticate audit reports and support the consolidation and closure of yearly accounts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant UAE experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), investment banking, or related fields.
- Minimum 2 years of UAE experience in an auditing firm.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proven expertise in financial forecasting, corporate finance, and financial data analysis.
- High attention to accuracy and detail.
