Job Summary

Batterjee Medical College (BMC) Dubai Branch is seeking dynamic and experienced faculty members to join the Preparatory Year Program as English Language Instructors. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong record in teaching research academic advising and community engagement and will contribute to the academic and developmental goals of BMC.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging studentcentered English language lectures at the preparatory level.
• Employ innovative teaching methodologies and assessment tools to enhance learning outcomes.
• Conduct and publish highimpact research in peerreviewed journals.
• Participate actively in academic advising mentoring and administrative functions.
• Support the college s community service and social responsibility initiatives.
• Stay abreast of educational and technological advancements in the field.
• Perform academic duties assigned by the Program Head and College Leadership.

Education Requirements

• Ph.D. or Master s Degree in Linguistics / Applied Linguistics / English Language Teaching from a recognized university.
• TESOL / TEFL / CELTA certification is highly desirable.
• Any additional certified training in the field is an advantage.

Experience

• A minimum of 4 5 years of fulltime teaching experience at the undergraduate level in reputable academic institutions.
• Proven record in curriculum development quality assurance and outcomebased education.
• Experience in academic coordination or program leadership is a plus.

Other Requirements

• Strong publication record (attach list of publications).
• Submission of Teaching Philosophy and Research Statement.
• Excellent communication and crosscultural skills.
