Job description

We are seeking a skilled and detailoriented Fabrication Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will operate and maintain fabrication machinery to produce metal or plastic components according to specifications. This role involves reading blueprints setting up machines and performing quality inspections to ensure that parts meet established standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate various fabrication machines such as press brakes shears rollers saws and CNC equipment.
• Read and interpret technical drawings blueprints and work orders.
• Set up machines with the correct tools fixtures and materials.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as necessary.
• Measure and inspect fabricated parts using gauges calipers and other measuring instruments.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety and 5S guidelines.
• Collaborate with the quality control and engineering teams to resolve production issues.
• Record production data and report any discrepancies or equipment malfunctions.
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a fabrication or machine operator in a manufacturing environment.
