Job Description:
The Executive Chef will be responsible for the overall management and operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, scheduling staff, ordering supplies, preparing meals according to established recipes, maintaining cleanliness standards throughout all areas of the kitchen, ensuring food safety protocols are followed at all times, managing food costs within budget constraints, and leading staff in daily kitchen operations. The Executive Chef will also be responsible for developing new recipes as needed to keep up with evolving tastes and trends.

Qualifications & Skills:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum 5 years’ experience as an Executive Chef or similar role within a large restaurant setting with high volume production requirements. They should possess excellent knowledge of culinary principles (e.g., cooking methods, presentation techniques), proficiency in all aspects of menu planning and preparation (including cost control), strong leadership capabilities that inspire teams to produce quality dishes efficiently; outstanding organizational skills; creative problem solving abilities; sound judgement; excellent communication skills; food safety certifications; computer literacy (MS Office); and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service at all times.
