Responsibilities
- General Food and Beverage Services: follow alcohol service procedures, communicate meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen; set tables according to event type and service standards; perform other reasonable duties as requested.
- Banquet Room Set‑up: prepare coffee breaks, carts, and stations as per Banquet Event Order; set up tables, buffets, service carts, dessert tables, cordial carts with specified tools; set up, operate, and troubleshoot audio‑visual (AV), projection, lighting and conferencing equipment; familiarise with all function room locations and various set‑up styles (school, theatre, conference, U‑shape, etc.).
- Banquet Room Bussing and Cleaning: buss tables, monitor tableware for cleanliness and condition, break down and secure AV equipment promptly after events.
- Banquets: respond to special banquet event arrangements requested by guests; replenish buffet items ensuring consistency and freshness; assist guests with AV equipment and internet usage.
- Closing Duties: secure liquor, beer, wine, coolers, cabinets and storage areas; complete closing duties including storing reusable goods, cleaning equipment, returning items, locking refrigerators, restocking, turning off lights, locking doors and completing the daily cleaning checklist.
- Steps of Service: check in with guests to ensure satisfaction; monitor cleanliness of tables and work areas; clear courses according to department standards and crumb tables appropriately.
