About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Engineering Manager to join Jumeirah Beach Hotel.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• To lead and oversee engineering teams in the design, development, and implementation of innovative solutions, ensuring alignment with Jumeirah’s objectives, adherence to quality standards, and timely delivery of projects.
• Providing strategic direction, fostering collaboration, and optimising resources to drive technical excellence, enhance productivity, and achieve business success in dynamic and evolving engineering environments.
• Handle the programming and administration of the BMS systems according to the needs and requirements to support the accurate operation of the facilities and the management of the desired temperature, lighting, and operation of facilities.
• Plan and coordinate the reprogramming / upgrading of the BMS systems through installing new hardware and software to improve operational efficiency and enable energy savings.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Health, Safety and Environment management procedures and controls within a defined area of activity so that Jumeirah Group provides world class and luxurious hospitality services to its guests.
• Participate in the scheduling and effective execution of the preventative maintenance of the HVAC / Electrical / Mechanical / Plumbing infrastructure by managing accordingly the BMS system and coordinating with all relevant parties for the effective execution of the maintenance activities.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• 5-8 year of relevant exposure in the hospitality sector.
• Software competencies – Microsoft Office programs (Advanced).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or any other relevant field.
• Problem solving, leadership and team management skills.
