Job summary

A leading manpower services company in Dubai is seeking an experienced Engineer with over 10 years in the marine/offshore industry. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of diesel engines and other mechanical equipment onboard various industrial platforms. A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required along with excellent communication, project management skills, and proficiency in MS Office, MS Projects, and AutoCAD. Qualifications

• Over 10 years of experience in Marine/Offshore/Power Generation Industry.
• Hands-on experience in trouble shooting, maintenance, and repair of diesel engines and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to communicate job requirements clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.

Job description

• Hands on experience in Troubleshooting, Maintenance, Repair, Overhauling and Upgrade of Diesel Engines, Pumps, Valves, Compressors, Propulsion Systems and other Mechanical Equipment onboard Ships, Rigs, Offshore Installations, Power Plants and other Industrial Plants.
• A qualified Engineer in Mechanical, Marine, Ship repair or other related disciplines
• Over 10 years experience in Marine/Offshore/Power Generation Industry.
• Good leadership qualities, must be able to clearly communicate job requirements verbally and in written English to team members.
• Good team player with positive attitude, integrity and organizational awareness.
• Must have project management skills in planning, organizing and controlling projects.
• Any Nationality but an ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office, MS Projects and AutoCAD with excellent report writing skills
