Job summary

A major food and beverage company in UAE is seeking a proactive team member for their Corporate Procurement team. The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end procurement process, negotiate with suppliers, and understand internal customer requirements. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is necessary, along with UAE nationality and no prior experience required. This role is integral to optimizing supplier relations and driving cost-saving projects.

Qualifications

• Must be an UAE national with a family book.
• No prior experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with suppliers for various categories.
• Understand internal customer requirements and devise sourcing plans.
• Prepare roadmap for process simplification and purchase transactions management.
• Negotiate contract including payment terms with suppliers.
• Control mechanism at system level by entering relevant information in Contract/PO.
• Meet service levels as agreed with internal stakeholders.
• Conduct supplier evaluations and performance improvement.
• Drive consolidation projects to reduce waste and optimize supplier base.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Negotiation with suppliers for various categories.

• Prepare roadmap for process simplification and purchase transactions management


• Negotiate contract including payment terms with suppliers to achieve target savings and drive projects for cost optimization


• Control mechanism at system level by entering relevant information in Contract / PO


• Meet service levels as agreed with internal stakeholders


• Conduct Supplier evaluation , Supplier performance improvement, Supplier rating


• Drive consolidation projects to reduces waste and optimize supplier base

KPIs

KPIs will be based on projects
