Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy is seeking an E&I Quantity Surveyor for a project in Abu Dhabi. This role requires over 5 years of experience in oil & gas and expertise in AUTO CAD. The ideal candidate will manage quantity records, prepare RFQs, and evaluate bids. Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of experience in the field.
  • Worked for EPCM Oil and gas companies for minimum 5 years.
  • Site experience is a must.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the overall master quantity record.
  • Prepare RFQ documents and evaluate commercial bids.
  • Prepare quantity take offs for Electrical and Instrumentation works.

Job description

We are looking for an E&I Quantity Surveyor for one of our clients with the following details:

Location: Bu Hasa & Habshan, UAE

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Duration: 24 months - extendable based on project requirement - Contract Hire

Work Schedule: Working on site will be 8 to 10-hour shifts

Qualification and Experience Required
  • 5 and above years of experience in the field
  • Site experience is a must.
  • Experience with ADNOC on site and ADNOC approved is highly preferred.
  • Requiring maximum one month notice.
  • Worked for EPCM Oil and gas companies for minimum 5 years
  • ISO certificate is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering disciplines.
  • Fluent English communication skills are essential.
Services Description
  • To Maintain the overall master quantity record, incorporating updates from revised drawings.
  • To prepare the RFQ document.
  • To Evaluate the Commercial Bid.
  • To Prepare the Preambles, Schedules of Rates, Bills of Quantities and Estimations.
  • To Prepare project cost reports and review them in coordination with the Commercial and Subcontracts Manager.
  • To Review and certify subcontractor payment applications in line with the terms and conditions of the subcontract.
  • Collaborate with the project team to resolve subcontractor disputes, claims, and performance related issues.
  • Minimum 5 years of Experience in Oil & gas project
  • AUTO cad Software knowledge required
  • To Prepare quantity take offs for Electrical and Instrumentation works.
