Overview

To verify travel documents and ensure compliance to the regulatory requirements related to flights with MOU & high risk as well as preparation and submission of offloading reports to protect the organization from heavy penalties and infringements which may be imposed by various immigration authorities and avoid inconvenience to guests. Deliver exceptional guest service; safe and professional guest handling; and provide operational excellence during regular & irregular operations in compliance with the UAE laws, regulations, other applicable standards, company procedures with utmost focus on safety, security and guest convenience.

Accountabilities

1. Assess and verify travel documents of guests travelling on all flights covered under MOU & High risk category and ensure regulatory compliance to identify fraudulent documents with the resultant detection of prospective illegal immigrants and facilitators
2. Identify trends of fraudulent activities and practices in relation to travel documents
3. Prepare reports with facts and justifications to facilitate immigration appeals to revoke penalties issued to the airline
4. Assist operations team and local authorities in dealing with cases of inadmissible guests based on sensitivity of the case and various regulatory requirements
5. Brief operations team regarding cases of breaches and incidents linked to document verification/guests and staff
6. Prepare offloading report for guests offloaded from flights and submit to local authorities

Education & Experience

• Secondary
• Level with additional qualification related to Document Verification or Aviation Security.
• 2-3 years’ experience in Document Verification and Immigration Compliance. 1-2 years’ experience in Airport Operations background at a major international airport.
