Job summary

Standard Chartered in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Sales and Relationship Manager to build strategic client relationships, onboard new clients, and manage a portfolio with a focus on revenue growth and excellent service.

You will develop plans, lead cross-functional collaboration, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while delivering tailored financial solutions to affluent clients. This role emphasizes client acquisition, retention, and risk-aware growth.

Qualifications

• Experienced Sales and Relationship Manager with background in handling Banking & Investment Products.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes.
• Networking ability to manage interdepartmental deliverables.
• Leadership ability, promotes enthusiasm and team spirit.
• Good understanding of the UAE business environment with local HNI contacts.

Responsibilities

• Create strategic plans for revenue generation and business development.
• Generate new business to achieve targets in customers, volumes and revenue.
• Induct NTB customers brought in by Branches & Direct Sales team.
• Create sales call plans to acquire large prospective customers.
• Maintain Sales MIS (Calls, Prospects, Attritions, Business done).
• Meet customer expectations and handle complaints to achieve high satisfaction and retention.
• Lead by example and align with risk partners; ensure KYC/AML compliance.
• Detect suspicious transactions and ensure anti-money laundering controls.
