Job summary

Standard Chartered is seeking an experienced Sales and Relationship Manager in the United Arab Emirates to grow and maintain a high-value client portfolio within Wealth and Retail Banking. The role focuses on onboarding new clients, cross-selling banking and investment products, and delivering exceptional service through strategic planning and proactive relationship management.

Qualifications

• Experienced Sales and Relationship Manager with background in handling Banking & Investment products.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes.
• Networking ability to manage interdepartmental deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Create strategic plans for revenue generation and business development.
• Generate new business to meet targets in customers, volumes and revenue.
• Induct NTB customers brought in by Branches & Direct Sales team.
• Create sales call plans to acquire large prospective customers.
• Update and maintain Sales MIS (Calls, Prospects, Attritions, Business done).
• Meet customer expectations and reduce complaints while maintaining service quality.
• Lead by example and align team with risk and control partners.
• Ensure KYC/AML updates and zero-error documentation.
• Detect suspicious transactions, money laundering and forgeries.
• Maintain compliance with Anti-Bribery, AML & Financial Crime procedures.
• Obtain SCA license within 6 months and complete CPD post-licensing.
