HEAVY TRUCK DRIVER

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Tanker Heavy Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a tanker trucks to transport petroleum products to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate diesel tanker trucks to transport petroleum products to designated locations
• Follow all safety regulations and procedures to ensure safe transportation of hazardous materials
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any issues or defects
• Monitor traffic and weather conditions to plan the best route for timely delivery
• Load and unload the tanker truck using appropriate equipment and procedures
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries mileage and fuel usage
• Communicate with dispatch to coordinate delivery schedules and report any delays or issues
• Adhere to company policies and procedures as well as local and federal transportation regulations
• Keep the truck clean and well-maintained at all times
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

• Good physical fitness and mental maturity as this is heavy truck driver for diesel
• Must have a clean driving record and pass a background check and drug test
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a diesel tanker truck driver
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good knowledge of safe driving practices and transportation regulations
• Ability to read and interpret maps and GPS systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
• Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends if required
