JOB PURPOSE

The Data & Insights Analyst will play a key role in transforming how our organization understands uses and communicates data acting as a strategic bridge between our organizations creative research and operational sides - turning scattered information into meaningful narratives and evidence-backed insights. This role will focus on identifying and consolidating data across our projects research and archives - developing dashboards visualizations and insights that bring clarity and narrative power to our work. Over time this role will also explore how AI tools can enhance efficiency creativity and impact - from data analysis and reporting to supporting our storytelling and conceptual projects. This is an ideal role for someone who is analytical creative and curious - a thinker who sees patterns in information and can turn them into meaningful stories and insights.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the organizations data landscape and identify key data sources across departments.
• Design and implement frameworks for data collection governance and analytics that align with organizational objectives.
• Create and present visual data stories dashboards and insights to inform leadership decisions and highlight impact.
• Partner with teams across projects research and communications to translate complex data into accessible narratives.
• Collaborate with the Senior Manager Technology to explore and pilot AI tools that support productivity analysis and innovation.
• Support strategic planning by providing evidence-based insights reports and recommendations.
• Build organizational capability in data literacy through knowledge sharing and internal training sessions.
• Collect clean and organize data from multiple internal and external sources (project databases archives reports media libraries etc.).
• Maintain structured data repositories and ensure consistent data standards across teams
• Design and maintain dashboards and visual reports using tools such as Power BI Tableau or Google Data Studio.
• Track project metrics performance indicators and outputs to support monitoring and evaluation.
• Support the preparation of periodic reports infographics and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct routine data quality checks and troubleshoot discrepancies.
• Assist with data-driven automation and process improvement initiatives.
• Research emerging technologies and recommend relevant AI or analytical tools for adoption.
• Ensure all data handling aligns with privacy ethics and organizational governance standards

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors degree in Data Science Information Systems Statistics Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex information clearly.
• Proficiency with data visualization and analytics tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau Excel Google Data Studio).
• Understanding of data management reporting and visualization best practices.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with an eye for design and storytelling.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

• 5 years of experience in a data analysis research analytics or business intelligence role.
• Experience consolidating and analyzing data from diverse sources.
• Exposure to (or strong interest in) AI machine learning or automation tools is an advantage.
• Experience working in a mission-driven creative or research-based environment preferred
