Crane operator vacancy in Umm-al-Qaiwain UAE

We are looking for an experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Umm-al-Qaiwain. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of cranes and other heavy equipment to move materials, lift objects, and transport personnel at various locations.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes and other heavy machinery in accordance with safety regulations.
• Load, unload, move and position materials as required.
• Operate vehicles to transport personnel or materials on job sites.
• Inspect crane components regularly for damage or defects.
• Follow all safety protocols at all times when operating the crane.
• Monitor the working area for potential hazards or obstacles.
• Maintain records of crane operations and hours worked.
• Report any problems with the crane or equipment to supervisors immediately.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Crane Operator in a similar environment is preferred; however, we are willing to consider candidates who have no experience but have obtained relevant qualifications such as a Heavy Equipment Operator certificate from an accredited educational institution.
• Valid driver’s license is required; however, we are willing to consider foreign applicants who do not possess a valid driver’s license but can prove they hold a valid international driving permit from their home country.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals is essential for this role.

Salary & Benefits

This position offers an attractive remuneration package of 1000 AED per month plus other benefits such as medical insurance, annual leave days and end of service gratuity payments in accordance with UAE labor law regulations.
