Responsibilities
Reporting into the Head of PR, the Corporate Account Executive plays a lead role in the hands‑on delivery of and PR services to a portfolio of clients. Responsibilities include:
- Supports in developing creative and results‑driven PR plans aligned with client briefs and objectives.
- Crafts innovative, insight‑led campaigns tailored to client industries and communications goals.
- Supports in crafting project plans, manages timelines independently, and effectively prioritizes tasks with minimal supervision.
- Produces high‑quality written materials, including media releases, pitch notes and interview briefings.
- Builds and nurtures strong relationships with media, influencers, and key content creators; hosts media interactions when appropriate.
- Acts as a key liaison between internal teams and clients, co‑leading meetings and maintaining consistent communication.
- Coordinates interviews and editorial meetings with key journalists, supporting client spokespeople throughout the process.
- Proactively pitches stories and content ideas across all media formats — print, digital, and broadcast.
- Cultivates a network of relevant influencers to amplify campaigns and client visibility.
- Tracks media coverage and prepares detailed performance reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Supports in measuring and evaluating campaign outcomes, delivering meaningful insights and results analysis.
- Supports planning and execution of client events, ensuring flawless delivery and hands‑on assistance.
- Maintains a high standard of responsiveness and professionalism in all client interactions.
- Actively participates in Qcademy and other learning initiatives to enhance professional development.
- Keeps abreast of industry trends to ensure Q and its clients remain ahead in the regional communications landscape.
Qualifications
Who you are:
- A recognised tertiary qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or Digital Marketing.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience.
- Deep understanding of the local media landscape, with proven experience navigating it effectively.
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams and delivering outstanding client service.
- Well‑established network of local media contacts, including journalists, influencers, and key industry stakeholders.
- Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills.
\- Strong understanding and hands‑on experience with various media and social media platforms.
- Proven ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, media, colleagues and other stakeholders and leverage these connections to support business and client goals.
- Excellent client service skills with the ability to lead teams in delivering high‑quality work and strategic outcomes.
- Solid project management capabilities, with a strong track record of delivering on time, within budget, and to client expectations.
- Self‑starter with the ability to operate independently while managing multiple priorities.
- A balanced combination of creative thinking and commercial insight.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards of accuracy and delivery.
