Job description

Job Purpose

To develop compelling content in both English and Arabic to support Modon’s marketing campaigns, digital platforms, and creative assets.

Working closely with the Marketing and the Design team, the role ensures all campaign and brand messaging is accurate, engaging, and aligned with Modon’s brand guidelines.

This role may also provide support to the PR & Communications team when required.

Roles, Responsibilities, Duties

  • Write and edit bilingual copy (Arabic and English) for marketing campaigns, digital platforms, social media, and advertising.
  • Develop headlines, taglines, and campaign messaging in collaboration with the Design team.
  • Ensure accurate translations and localization of all creative materials for both languages.
  • Review and proofread copy for clarity, tone, and brand consistency.
  • Collaborate with the Design team to ensure alignment between visuals and messaging.
  • Support the PR & Communications team on bilingual press releases, speeches, and corporate messaging when required.
  • Maintain a library of approved campaign copy, slogans, and key messages for reference.
  • Stay updated on cultural trends, audience behavior, and communication best practices in both languages.
  • Support the Marketing Manager with content for presentations, reports, and internal marketing communications.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or Translation.
  • Certification in copywriting, creative writing, or digital marketing is an advantage.

Experience and Competencies:

  • 3–5 years of experience in bilingual copywriting for marketing, advertising, or creative agencies.
  • Native or fluent proficiency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).
  • Strong ability to adapt tone and messaging for different campaigns and audiences.
