What you will do:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team in a Contract Specialist role. This position plays a critical part in reviewing and finalizing contracts ensuring compliance with legal standards and company policies. How you will do it:

• Review contracts based on priorities.
• Identify risks pitfalls and mitigation measures via transfer or annulment of risk by use of appropriate amendments to contract language.
• Identify restrictive trade practices under the Contract; report it via formal procedures and negotiate such non-permissible practices out of the Contract.
• Facilitate legal review as applicable.
• Negotiate contract terms and conditions via formal stakeholder interaction to the best possible position in a timely manner.
• Support Finance on Bank Guarantee negotiation (where required).
• Liaise with Sales/Estimation and Ops to better understand the risk profile establish assumptions made etc. and also to appraise them of the stringent requirements under the Contract to allow for costs and/or risk management.
• Final Contract Review.
• Facilitate internal approvals and authorized signatures as per company policies.
• Provide suggestions for improving / streamlining the process.
• Liaise with the Contracts Manager on any pre-contract issues.
