Role Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified Consultant Breast and Endocrine Surgeon to lead surgical care at a prestigious hospital in Jeddah. The role involves managing complex breast and endocrine cases, performing advanced surgical procedures, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to research and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expert surgical care for breast and endocrine conditions, including thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, and breast malignancies.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as mastectomy, lumpectomy, thyroidectomy, and minimally invasive endocrine surgeries.
- Provide consultative services across inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Supervise and train fellows, residents, and junior physicians.
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and case discussions.
- Contribute to clinical research, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Uphold hospital policies and SCFHS standards in all clinical activities.
- Engage in administrative duties and committee participation as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Completion of residency and fellowship in Breast and Endocrine Surgery.
- Board Certification (Saudi Board, Arab Board, American/Canadian/European equivalent).
- Valid Consultant classification with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
- Minimum 3–5 years post-board/fellowship experience in breast and endocrine surgery.
- Proven expertise in oncologic and endocrine surgical techniques.
- Strong leadership, teaching, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
