Job summary

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts in Dubai Airport Road seeks a skilled kitchen professional to join our Food & Beverage team as a non-management cook. Full-time, on-site role requiring technical/trade education and at least 3 years of related experience in a fast-paced hotel kitchen.

You will prepare meals, regulate oven and stove temps, maintain logs, ensure quality and presentation, and support staff during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Technical, trade, or vocational degree required.
• Minimum 3 years related food production experience.
• Supervisory experience: No supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare special meals or substitute items according to recipes and standards.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, and coaching employees; act as a role model.
• Maintain food logs and ensure quality, quantity and presentation of dishes.
