Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and a food preparation checklist.
• Regulate oven, broiler, grill, and roaster temperatures to ensure consistency.
• Pull items from freezer to thaw in the refrigerator and maintain proper portions.
• Maintain food logs and monitor quality/quantity of prepared food.
• Communicate needs during busy periods and inform Chef of excess items for daily specials.
• Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, and motivating staff; serve as a role model.
• Follow safety policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete safety training.
