Job summary

Qualifications

  • At least three years of experience in a five star international chain hotel.
  • Food Safety certified.
  • Completed kitchen apprentice or chefs training courses for at least one year.
  • Have good spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain bakery products, report faults, and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Follow recipes and specifications for portion size, quantity, and consistency as directed by the Bakery Chef de Partie.
  • Comply with HACCP, COSHH, and Jumeirah standards to maintain a safe and hygienic work environment.
  • Attend company and senior-led training sessions and maintain good relations with colleagues.
  • Monitor food costs, check information boards for updates, and ensure proper handover between shifts.
  • Perform additional duties as reasonably requested by management.

About the Job

  • Maintain bakery products, report faults, and ensure quality standards are met
