Commercial Manager (Head of Dry Chartering)

Location: Dubai

Faststream is supporting our customer in Dubai in their search for a driven leader to grow the Dry Chartering division for a small, competitive organisation that is driving big growth plans with a view to succeed and deliver on their strategic expansion.

This unique dual role covers both chartering and ship operations and requires someone who can ‘roll their sleeves up’, get amongst the action, and lead the team through strong coaching and guidance to drive a motivated culture and a profitable team.

Our client is looking for someone with a network and expertise across worldwide dry cargo movements.

Role Overview:

• Utilise your connections to charter vessels from ship owners.
• Competitively charter in and out of the market.
• Oversee the vessel's life cycle from pre- to post-fixture.
