  • Familiarity with local construction regulations and legal frameworks (e.g., UAE, GCC if relevant).

Job description
  • Oversee the commercial and contractual management of construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Prepare, manage, and track project budgets, forecasts, and cash flows.
  • Lead the preparation and negotiation of contracts, subcontracts, and procurement strategies.
  • Ensure accurate valuation of completed works, prepare payment, and manage variations/claims.
  • Conduct cost analysis, value engineering, and risk assessments to maximise project profitability.
  • Manage change control processes and evaluate the financial impact of project variations.
  • Work closely with project managers, site teams, consultants, and clients to ensure cost and contract compliance.
  • Ensure timely submission of commercial reports, including monthly cost/value reconciliations (CVRs), cost-to-complete reports, and project financial summaries.
  • Handle contract administration, including extension of time claims, dispute resolution, and final accounts.
  • Ensure adherence to legal and contractual obligations and manage contract documentation.
  • Provide commercial guidance and support to project teams and senior management.
