Job Summary

The Commercial Legal Executive Assistant will support the Vice President Commercial Legal and the Commercial Legal Leadership Team providing support on various organisational administrative and project management related matters on a global and regional level (AMER Asia Pacific Europe MEA). This role is a fixed-term position for a duration of 18 months.

Responsibilities
  • Provides assistance to the VP Commercial Legal and the Commercial Legal Leadership Team to ensure the Commercial Legal teams strategic objectives are driven in an efficient and effective manner including but not limited to :
  • Collating and analysing policies and information from different World Areas in order to support streamlining and consistency of process
  • Organizing meeting cadences taking minutes and following up and supporting action points with attendees
  • Coordinating training as required
  • Supporting Legal Operations with the implementation and enhancement of tools used by the Commercial legal team such as the Contracts Lifecycle Management Matter Management and Travel Approval tools
  • Creating PPT presentations
  • Collaborates with members of other Law Department functional groups in order to support Law Department wide initiatives;
  • Collaborate with members of the Legal team and other Emerson partners to make sure the team is in compliance with administrative requirements;
  • Assists with analysis and compiling data for reports;
  • Maintains files relevant databases and general work processes to improve the efficiency and productivity of the Commercial Legal team;
  • Advances strategic improvement opportunities and other tasks as assigned;
  • Supports day to day administrative tasks such as preparing expense reports cost estimates; collating documents requiring signature arranging international travel visas and itineraries etc.
  • Organizes events conferences;
  • Any other matters required to support the Commercial Legal team as requested by the VP Commercial Legal.
