Job Purpose
Responsible for providing students with professional expertise in teaching, assessing student work, academic advising, participation in administrative and committee activities, professional service, and community service.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Ph.D. in Human Resources Management (or related field) from an accredited university.
- Professional or native proficiency in English.
- Minimum 18 credit hours of graduate studies in the required field.
- Minimum of 3 articles indexed in Scopus‑listed journals or 5 peer‑reviewed articles in the past five years.
- Equivalency from the Ministry of Education in the UAE (or WES equivalency if the degree was not issued in the United States).
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching or working experience at an internationally accredited university.
- Proven record of excellence at the baccalaureate and graduate level teaching.
Skills, Training & Knowledge
- Curricular development and review.
- Record of professional accomplishment including peer‑reviewed publications.
- Continued research program and interest in collaboration with another faculty.
- Ability to integrate web‑based and digital technology in the classroom.
- Willingness to provide service to the University and the College.
- Excellent English communication skills for faculty teaching in English.
- Excellent Arabic communication skills for faculty teaching in Arabic.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver research‑ and practice‑driven instruction that fosters inquiry and critical thinking.
- Effectively manage instructional processes and outcomes.
- Evaluate student performance, provide clear assessment criteria, set expectations, and avoid cognitive bias.
- Contribute to curriculum review, ensuring relevance, intellectual rigor, and effectiveness of learning outcomes.
- Actively engage in scholarly research and publish peer‑reviewed articles in the area of specialization.
- Continuously develop academic techniques, technology integration, and leadership through workshops, seminars, and training.
- Provide academic advising and guidance on curriculum planning and career planning.
- Participate in work groups, accreditation, recruitment, research administration, and community service initiatives.
