A leading educational institution in Dubai seeks a Welfare Assistant to ensure student safety during transport and maintain school cleanliness. The ideal candidate will develop positive relationships within the school community and manage pupil behavior positively. This full-time position offers 9 hours of work per day, plus 4 hours on Sunday, and includes 30 days of paid leave per year. The Aquila School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All post holders are subject to appropriate vetting procedures and satisfactory Criminal Background Checks or equivalent covering the previous 10 years’ employment history.
In addition, all staff are required to carry out any tasks required by the school or the regional office to facilitate the smooth day to day running of the school.
To be line managed by the facilities manager and welfare supervisor.
Hours of work- 9 hours per day from Monday to Friday, plus 4 hours on Sunday.
Holidays- 30 working days paid leave and pro-rata for each uncompleted year.
The annual leave year runs from September to August. Leave can be taken after successful completion of the probation period and only during school breaks.
