Overview
Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced Civil Supervisor as part of our Construction team within our Oil, Gas & New Energies business based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The position will be full time onshore site based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Responsibilities
- CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT assures the quality and integrity of each project, bringing projects in on schedule and within budget. Using in-house construction management procedures and experience, provide continuity and consistency of construction management with quality assurance and reliable control.
- Oversees all aspects of field construction of small projects or an area or discipline of larger projects including direction of construction specifications, budgets and schedules.

Qualifications
- Typically minimum qualified to ISCED Level 5 (technical diploma / apprenticeship) or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience
Knowledge, skills and experience
- Appropriate level of field construction experience, typically gained through a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant industry
Personal attributes
- Well organized, observant, good interpersonal and communication skills
- Display both good judgment and leadership qualities
- Ability to work with timelines/targets
- Ability to be assertive and drive culture change when required
- Excellent interpersonal organizational, communication and team building skills
