Job summary

A well-established Emirati construction company is seeking a Draftsman for EHV substations. Responsibilities include preparing CAD civil and structural drawings and ensuring compliance with utility standards. The ideal candidate should have a diploma in Civil Engineering or CAD drafting, with at least 5 years of experience in similar roles. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years drafting experience in substation civil works (400/220/132 kV).
• Strong technical knowledge of IEC, DEWA, TRANSCO, and ADNOC standards.
• Previous experience in the UAE or GCC is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update CAD civil and structural drawings for substations.
• Ensure drawings comply with utility standards and international regulations.
• Coordinate with engineers to prepare bills of quantities and construction packages.
