Job summary

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai is seeking a culinary professional to prepare meals, regulate oven temperatures, and ensure portion control and garnish quality. You will maintain food logs, monitor quality, and assist during busy periods while keeping safety and cleanliness standards.

As a Non-Management role, you will support the Chef, participate in training and staff scheduling, and uphold brand standards to deliver exceptional guest experiences at our hotel in Dubai.

Qualifications

• Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• Related Work Experience: At least 3 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare special meals or substitute items.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, standards and checklists.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, and coaching employees.
• Maintain food logs and ensure quality and presentation of dishes.
• Inform staff of menu specials and out-of-stock items.
