Job summary

Sheraton in Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled kitchen professional to prepare meals, monitor quality, and maintain sanitation and safety standards. You will work to ensure recipes are followed and presentation meets standards, while supporting a busy team during peak periods.

You will assist with staff training and scheduling, uphold uniform requirements, and communicate effectively with service staff to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth operation of the kitchen.

Qualifications

• Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• Related Work Experience: At least 3 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
• Maintain food logs and monitor the quality and quantity of food prepared.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; protect company assets.
• Communicate needs during busy periods and support team to reach goals.
