Responsibilities

• Prepare special meals or substitute items; follow recipes and standards.
• Regulate temperature and cook times on ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
• Pull food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator.
• Maintain food logs and monitor quality and quantity of food prepared.
• Inform staff of menu specials and out-of-stock items; assist in busy periods.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, coaching employees.
• Follow safety policies and report hazards; ensure clean uniform and professional appearance.
