Role Context
The Channel Team Lead will take ownership of team effectiveness across Amazon 's Hub Delivery field organization, guiding Account Development Executives as they recruit, activate, and support local retail partners. Success in this position depends on more than reaching onboarding targets. The role will examine how partner performance varies across territories, identify recurring operational barriers, and ensure ADEs have the coaching and support required to improve activation and delivery outcomes. The Team Lead will also connect field activity with wider program decisions by consolidating local insights and sharing them with Operations, Last Mile, and Program teams. This creates a direct link between partner experience on the ground and the future design and scalability of Hub Delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the daily execution of a team of Account Development Executives working across Hub Delivery territories.
- Set clear priorities for prospecting, partner activation, onboarding, and ongoing performance management.
- Coach ADEs in practical field techniques for approaching and developing suitable retail partners.
- Mentor team members on account ownership, partner communication, and issue resolution.
- Review individual and collective performance against activation, operational, and delivery quality targets.
- Reinforce accountability for agreed actions, timelines, and partner commitments.
- Build a disciplined field culture that combines commercial initiative with strong operational standards.
- Analyze team and territory data to identify areas of underperformance.
- Compare activation and delivery trends across locations to identify broader patterns.
- Develop targeted corrective actions where results fall below program expectations.
- Help ADEs resolve complex onboarding or partner performance issues.
- Escalate systemic problems that cannot be solved through individual account intervention.
- Coordinate with Operations teams on issues affecting partner execution.
- Work with Last Mile stakeholders to address delivery quality concerns.
- Partner with Program teams on recurring barriers affecting program effectiveness.
- Consolidate observations from multiple territories into clear field insights.
- Highlight partner feedback that could improve onboarding, tools, processes, or support.
- Recommend changes that improve partner experience without weakening delivery standards.
- Monitor whether corrective measures produce measurable improvement.
- Share effective field practices across the ADE team to improve consistency.
- Support expansion of the partner network while maintaining appropriate quality controls.
- Keep leadership informed of pipeline health, activation progress, territory risks, and delivery performance.
- Use data analysis to prioritize coaching and operational intervention.
- Maintain productive relationships with local retail partners.
- Ensure ADEs understand both commercial objectives and operational requirements.
- Contribute to scalable ways of working as Hub Delivery expands.
- Support team development through regular feedback and structured performance conversations.

Ideal Profile
- Experience in data analysis.
- Operations management experience is preferred.
- Bachelor 's degree is preferred.
- Previous exposure to team leadership or employee coaching is highly relevant.
- Ability to interpret KPIs and identify performance drivers.
- Strong understanding of partner onboarding or account development activities is beneficial.
- Confidence guiding field-based employees toward measurable targets.
- Strong communication skills when working with retail partners and internal teams.
- Ability to investigate territory-level problems and distinguish systemic issues from isolated cases.
