Job summary

About the role

As a Business Development Executive – Skiply Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth for the Bank’s Skiply product and solutions. Reporting to the Senior Vice President & Head of Education - Skiply, you will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams including SME Business, Operations, and Technology to deliver seamless payment solutions to merchants and educational institutions.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve agreed volume and revenue targets for Skiply.
  • Identify and onboard new merchants, aiming for 8+ new businesses monthly and 35mn potential volume.
  • Offer ERP integration solutions to schools and manage expectations effectively.
  • Monitor merchant transactions and volumes; design retention strategies to minimize attrition and dormancy.
  • Work with SME teams for lead generation and closure, while proactively sourcing independent leads.
  • Ensure all merchant documentation complies with Bank requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Deliver exceptional service for merchant gateway and payment solutions.
  • Manage end‑to‑end processes for e‑commerce setup, activation, integration, and chargeback handling.
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with KYC and regulatory guidelines.
  • Possess strong knowledge of merchant acquiring and payment solution implementation.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Education: University degree or equivalent qualification.
