Job summary

A leading company in the chemical sector is looking for an Executive Secretary to MD/Business Analyst to analyze sales data and support strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will work closely with Sales, Finance, and Management teams to provide actionable insights and forecasts. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and strong skills in financial modeling, business analysis, and Excel are required. Experience in the chemical or petrochemical industry is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with senior executives or C-suite leadership teams.
  • Exposure in chemical manufacturing, petrochemicals, oil and gas, automotives, plastic and rubber engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze sales performance by product, region, customer segment, and sales channel.
  • Develop and maintain sales dashboards, reports, and KPIs.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgeting inputs, and variance analysis.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve sales efficiency.
  • Support Sales & Operations Planning and demand planning activities.
  • Evaluate pricing strategies and promotional impact.
  • Automate and improve sales reporting processes.
  • Present insights to senior management.
  • Work closely with CRM systems to ensure data accuracy.

Role Overview- Executive Secretary to MD/Business Analyst- Business Performance
Job Summary

The incumbent will analyze sales data, trends, and performance metrics to support strategic decision-making, improve revenue growth, and optimize sales operations. The role partners closely with Sales, Finance, and Management teams to deliver actionable insights, forecasts, and performance reports and reports into the Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze sales performance by product, region, customer segment, and sales channel
  • Develop and maintain sales dashboards, reports, and KPIs (targets, pipeline, conversion rates, margins)
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgeting inputs, and variance analysis
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve sales efficiency and revenue growth
  • Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and demand planning activities
  • Evaluate pricing strategies, discount effectiveness, and promotional impact
  • Automate and improve sales reporting processes for accuracy and timeliness
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior management
  • Work closely with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) to ensure data accuracy
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Strong expertise in financial modeling, business analysis, Excel, and data visualization.
  • Experience working with senior executives or C-suite leadership teams.
  • Having exposure in sectors like- chemical manufacturing/trading, petrochemicals, oil and gas, automotives, plastic and rubber engineering.
